BIM
Consulting

Building Information Modeling (BIM) is an IT enabled approach that involves applying and maintaining an integral digital representation of all building information for different phases of the project lifecycle in the form of a data repository. We provide BIM Consulting Services by using Autodesk’s Revit Application during pre-and post-construction periods. Prior to construction, we assist architects, builders and MEPF contractors in developing Bid/Tender drawings, Project Scheduling, Design Development, 3D Modeling, Clash Analysis and Shop Drawings, BOQs preparation, Renders and Walkthroughs as well as Content creation. During construction, As-Built Drawings will be generated. Post project completion, the As Built Drawings and technical information of equipment, Maintenance Reports, etc. will be given to the appropriate stakeholders.

Span Seven has the necessary skills to combine all construction data together and deliver a unified model to help owners and facility managers manage the building life-cycle. With our strong expertise, we span all the seven dimensions of the construction project- including 6D energy analysis/sustainability and 7D facility management.

  • Why BIM

The construction industry is rapidly evolving as owners demand increasingly complex projects to be delivered at a faster pace and at lower cost. With coordination, material, and labor inefficiencies consuming up to 30 percent of construction costs, construction companies of all sizes must find solutions for these critical business problems.

  • Win New Work

In the face of global economic strain, fewer construction projects are available. This increases competitive pressures on companies actively working to win new business.

  • Improve the Bottom Line

As competition grows, construction companies must be able to provide more accurate material quantifications and cost estimates—or risk reduced profits on projects that exceed budgets.

  • Streamline Productivity

Successful adoption of lean construction principles requires that companies evaluate projects holistically in order to identify opportunities to reduce costs and maximize productivity.

  • Reduce Errors

Project delivery timelines are shrinking, making it increasingly critical to manage a project with as few time- and cost-intensive RFIs and change orders as possible.

  • Deliver on Time

The coordination and execution of complex building projects is a difficult and time-consuming task. Seemingly small setbacks in scheduling have the potential to create significant delays in project delivery.
